Works brilliant close to windows. A North or South facing window is recommended.
If you will be leaving the plant in water to display:
The Monstera Deliciosa is more than happy to remain in water however for it to reach it full potential health and growth it is recommended to plant it out in soil at some stage in future. It will survive in water for its lifespan but will not thrive as it will in soil.
If you replace the water once a week with new water it will be happy and will not really require any further fertilizer.
If you will be planting your cutting out in to soil.
Water every 1-2 weeks. Check to see that at least the top 3cm of the soil is properly dry before attempting to water.
Requires soil that retains moisture not water. It must be able to drain well.
Higher humidity will encourage the leaves to grow larger.
The Philodendron Monstera deliciosa is also known for being one of the most successful air purifying plants.
